Buy America Bus Inspection Services

Description: Valley Metro is seeking an independent inspection firm to provide Federal Transit Administration Buy America compliance services for its heavy-duty transit-bus procurement program. The contractor would perform pre-award audits, resident inspections during manufacturing, first-article inspections, and post-delivery audits, with reports, certifications, and corrective-action tracking. The contract is anticipated to run for up to seven years beginning around November 1, 2027, and the work must comply with federal Buy America requirements and Valley Metro’s safety and insurance requirements.
