Asphalt Paving (Fall and Spring 2026-2027) RFP

Description: Fall and spring 2026-2027 asphalt paving project. Mobilization & Traffic Control: Providing all necessary equipment transportation, safety signage, and flaggers to ensure minimal disruption to residents and safe traffic flow. Milling & Edge Tie-Ins: Precision milling to a depth of 2 inches in all designated coverage areas. This includes squaring up joints and handling all necessary edge tie-ins at intersections, driveways, and existing structures to guarantee a smooth transition. Surface Preparation: Mechanical cleaning, sweeping, and removal of all loose debris, dust, and milled material from the sub-base prior to paving. Tack Coat Application: Uniform application of a WV-DOH approved emulsified asphalt tack coat to ensure maximum adhesion between the prepared surface and the new asphalt overlay. Asphalt Installation: Delivery, placement, and compaction of an average of 2" of hot-mix asphalt (HMA).
