ARRC Bridge 158.7 Replacement RFP

Description: To construct a new railroad bridge at mile post 158. 7 over cottonwood creek, including removal or decommissioning of the existing six-span timber bridge supported by seven timber pile bents, and construction of a replacement structure on the existing alignment consisting of two (2) 28-foot concrete ballast deck beam spans, two (2) sheet pile abutments, and reinforced concrete substructure elements including two (2) abutment caps supported by two rows of three piles each and one (1) mid-span bent cap supported by three piles, for a total of fifteen (15) driven steel pipe piles and three (3) reinforced concrete caps, all in strict accordance with ARRC specifications, contract documents, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations, while maintaining safety and minimizing disruption to railroad operations.
