In general, the work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of approx. 13,655 LF of 6" PVC watermain; 3,940 LF of 8" PVC watermain; 1,275 LF of 10" PVC watermain; 3,165 LF of 10" non potable watermain, 1" service connections; meter installations and connections to onsite plumbing at each residence as shown on the plans, back flow preventers, fire hydrant services and installation of hydrants and abandonment of existing water mains. The new watermains will connect to the existing water distribution system at multiple connection points as shown on the plans. In addition, the work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete improvements to 9th street. This includes the reconstruction of a new asphalt concrete section between the intersections of 9th street & LAS Palmas Avenue and 9th street & Sperry Avenue, curb ramps at the intersection of e street and LAS palmas along 9th street, new concrete drive approaches and associated concrete sidewalk improvements and aggregate base swales. Utility improvements consist of adjusting existing utility boxes and structures within 9th street to grade. Signage and striping improvements consist of new centerline striping along 9th street, stop bars and crosswalk striping and the relocation of existing signage outside the proposed improvements.
