44B-2026 SAMISH WAY UTILITY REPLACEMENTS EU197 RFP

Description: The City of Bellingham is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of the 44B-2026 SAMISH WAY UTILITY REPLACEMENTS EU197 project, with bids due by 11:00 a.m. on August 12, 2026, at the Purchasing Office located at 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, Washington 98225. The work consists of replacing approximately 935 feet of 8-inch concrete sanitary sewer main with 12-inch PVC SDR35 along Samish Way from Consolidation Avenue north to Abbott Street, constructing about 2,190 feet of 12-inch water main along Samish Way between Bill McDonald Parkway and Otis Street, and approximately 540 feet of 8-inch water main along portions of Abbott Street and East Laurel Street. Additional work includes about 3,230 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer CIPP rehabilitation and 791 feet of new 8-inch sanitary sewer main along G Street from Halleck Street to North Street and adjacent alleys, with an engineer's price range of $4,600,000 to $5,500,000 and a 5% bid security required.
