3389 Large Class Hopper Dredge (LCHD-ESS)
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Portland District) issued a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFP W912BU26RA031) to design, build, test, and deliver one Large Class Hopper Dredge (LCHD-ESS) to replace the dredge ESSAYONS. The vessel specification requires about a 6,500 cubic yard hopper capacity, a diesel-electric power system, and azimuthing thruster propulsion, with delivery FOB destination to U.S. Moorings in Portland, OR within 1675 days after award.
