2631 Stop-Loss Excess Coverage for Self-Funded Health Plan (Phase I) RFP

Description: Alief Independent School District is soliciting proposals for individual medical and prescription drug stop-loss insurance to protect its self-funded employee health benefits plan against high-cost claims. Phase I requests respondent qualifications, placement capability, ranked market-assignment requests, compensation and pricing acknowledgment, and comparable client references; carrier quotes and premium pricing are not requested in this phase. Coverage is to take effect January 1, 2027, with twelve-month and eight-month alternatives, and Phase II carrier proposals will follow written market assignments.
