Project includes the construction of a new Water Treatment Plant, two-celled Chlorine Contact Tank, two-celled Clearwell, Finished Water Pumping Station, Spent Washwater Equalization Tank, a Generator, Stormwater BMPs and Yard Piping as well as rehabilitation of the existing Residuals Handling lagoons. The new Water Treatment Plant will be approx 190 by 77' and will consist of a process area with a pre-oxidation tank, three DAF units, and three filters. There will also be chemical rooms, and an administration area.

The improvements proposed at the plant include the installation of pressurized iron and manganese filtration system with GreenSand+ media, the installation of a Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) adsorption system for removal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination, and a complete filter backwash wastewater handling and discharge system. The upgrades shall be installed with all process and potable water and sanitary piping, valves, and appurtenances, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and connections to the existing system. The improvements shall also include the construction of a new CMU masonry building, and all associated structural improvements necessary to support the structures.
