This project will improve the existing left turn lanes add a new right turn lane, widen existing medians to provide pedestrian refuge islands, and replace the existing traffic signal infrastructure at this intersection. Additionally, the project will replace portions of existing sidewalks within the limits of the intersection, as well as extend new 5" concrete sidewalk approx 1,500 LF. Finally, the project will provide utility/drainage improvements and install a new bus shelter.

The project consists of complete street improvements. Work includes roadway narrowing, construction of a 14-foot-wide sidewalk on the north side and a 10-foot-wide sidewalk on the south side, ADA curb ramps, installation of new drainage structures and culverts, modification of existing drainage structures, adjustment of existing utility manhole lids to proposed grade, signing and pavement markings, traffic signal modifications, landscape and hardscape features, and sodding of disturbed areas.
