24" Transmission Water Main Design Consulting Services

Description: The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities is soliciting proposals from a qualified engineering consultant to design a new 24-inch nominal-diameter ductile-iron water transmission main. The work includes replacing a segment of an existing 36-inch prestressed concrete pipe, hydraulic analysis, design of valves, air-release assemblies, and interconnections, and coordination of easements across Wyandotte County, Kansas City, KDOT, and private landowners.
