2026 Swisher Culvert Improvement Project RFP

Description: Extension to the north and south side of an existing 12" CMP culvert located on the east side of the 2nd Street SE and Summit Street SE intersection including the installation of flared end sections and re-grading of the existing ditch to the south. Removal of an existing 12" culvert and pavement crossing Summit Street SE immediately north of 4th Street SE, and installation of new 18" plastic culvert under the 125 4th Street SE driveway. This work will include the installation of an intake on the upstream side of the culvert and a flared end section with erosion stone on the downstream side, re-grading of the ditch from the existing upstream culvert at 325 Summit Street SE to the end of the new culvert, reconstruction of the granular driveway at 125 4th Street SE, and a full-depth HMA patch of the Summit Street SE and 4th Street SE curve and the placement of a double seal coat.
