Description: Provide sanitary sewer system inspection. Contractor shall clean all manholes and sewer line segments within the project area and then physically inspect all sewer line segments and manholes within the project area. The length of the sewer line to be cleaned, inspected and smoke tested is approx. 2,300 LF of 6-inch sewer line, 2,200 LF of 8-inch sewer line, and 500 LF of 10-inch sewer line. There are approx. 26 manholes that shall be cleaned and inspected.

The Town of Mead is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to jet and clean designated sanitary sewer lines, manholes, and storm sewer culverts, and to provide sewer flow control, manhole inspections, and sanitary sewer main-line video inspection at designated locations in town. The work includes the labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, hauling, mobilization, traffic control, and environmental or fuel/surcharge fees needed to perform the services. The Town anticipates cleaning at least one-third of its sanitary sewer and culvert networks and inspecting one-third of its sanitary sewer network and manholes each year for the next three years.
