Serve as legal counsel for the Housing Authority of the City of Millville in court proceedings and litigation as it relates to Landlord/Tenant Law; preparation of legal documents as it relates to Landlord/Tenant Law; advise managerial staff on matters pertaining to legal rights, obligations, and other phases of law as it pertains to the Housing Authority; prepare a monthly report on Landlord/Tenant action taken for Board of Commissioners; research, analyze, and develop and/or provide opinions toward the development of Authority-wide policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; interface with HUD legal counsel in order to comply with changing regulations on law, low-rent housing programs, review constitution, legislative decisions, and other legal documents for compliance with applicable laws and regulations and to provide legal advice as it relates to Landlord/Tenant Law.
