Description: Improve the pedestrian bridge, an elevated bridge that will be constructed. The bridge will carry pedestrian traffic over the roadway. Work includes 3146 LF of 42" cured-in-place pipe liner; 1 EA of 6" large water service replacement; Construction of the bridge substructure and superstructure includes cast-in-place concrete footings, epoxy-coated reinforcing steel, structural steel, elastomeric bearings, a reinforced concrete moment slab, steel and concrete railings, surface sealing, a cable mesh safety barrier, and custom architectural features like face-lit LED signage, a curved steel arch/base, and stainless steel accents. Additional infrastructure upgrades include extensive storm drainage installation (inlets, precast round inlets, Cured-In-Place Pipe lining), water main connections and utility work (16" and 6" HDPE pressure piping, valves, hydrants, blow-offs), electrical and lighting systems (HDPE conduit, fiber optic cables, concrete lighting foundations, light poles, fixtures, wiring), asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks, chain-link fencing, temporary traffic control/barrier installation, and final landscaping with mulched seeding.
