MTA Construction & Development is soliciting bids (SSE Event # A35355, IFB) to rehabilitate the exterior south-facing brick façade at the 4th Avenue–9th Street subway station on the 6th Avenue Line in Brooklyn, serving the F and G trains. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of brick veneer, repair of concrete and steel framing, replacement of window assemblies and steel lintels, limestone coping stone work, removal of the existing sidewalk shed and metal panels/grilles, and cleaning of brick veneer at the control towers.
