Klamath County seeks sealed bids from Oregon-licensed General Contractors to perform complete building demolition and hazardous materials abatement (asbestos, lead, other hazardous substances) at 3319 S. 6th Street, Klamath Falls (former Hanscam's Bowling Alley). Asbestos abatement for Beardshear Hall roof sections A–H at Iowa State University (Ames, IA). Work includes removal of asbestos-containing roofing materials (target removal rate 5 squares / 500 sq ft per day) during M–F morning access windows (6:30 AM–12:30 PM), supply of certified abatement crew, HEPA-tested equipment, one closed-top asbestos dumpster and one general debris dumpster, legal transport and disposal to Boone County or Metro East landfills, filing required state/federal notices, and compliance with ISU asbestos specifications and OSHA rules. Mandatory pre-bid/site walk-through attendance required. Bidders must provide company profile, references, Iowa asbestos removal permit and certified personnel; performance/payment bond required for jobs over $25,000.

Roane County Commission is soliciting sealed bids to demolish four structures throughout Roane County, West Virginia, with asbestos abatement required for three of the sites and one site requiring demolition only. Work includes demolition, asbestos abatement where applicable, proper debris removal, and site restoration, with bids accepted for Project A (abatement and demolition), Project B (demolition only), or both. Work includes selective demolition and removal/disposal of asbestos-containing materials such as floor tile, adhesives, linoleum flooring adhesives, and certain exterior window panels/framing/caulking; award will be made by individual building with bidders submitting a lump-sum base bid for each building. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; bidders must acknowledge addenda and follow the buyer’s response instructions available on the official posting.
