This project will expand an existing 48,000 SF 63 bed mental health hospital by adding a new 12,800 SF wing. The new wing will consist of two separate units, one with 14 adolescent beds, the other with 8 pediatric beds. The units will has some nursing service spaces, but all patient care areas, including outdoor activity yards will be segregated by age. Additional work to support this construction to include renovated public toilet rooms and drinking fountain, equipment yard, drop-off canopy, improvements to accessible parking and walkways. The area where the existing building connects to the new building will be revised to provide a continuous corridor and to renovate the breakroom to better align with the use.
