This Health and Safety Plan Summary outlines the York Suburban School District's comprehensive approach to ensuring a safe educational environment. It details policies for preventing and mitigating health risks in alignment with CDC and state guidance, while also ensuring the continuity of academic, social, emotional, and mental health services for students and staff. The plan addresses key areas such as mask protocols, physical distancing, hygiene practices, facility maintenance, contact tracing, isolation and quarantine procedures, diagnostic testing, vaccination support, accommodations for students with disabilities, and coordination with health officials.

The board meeting included an overview of the proposed General Operating Budget for 2024-2025. Additionally, the Committee Chair provided updates on recent legislative activity regarding House Bill 2169 and changes to charter school regulations.
