The meeting included recognition of the Volunteer of the Year and retirees from the West Boylston Public School District. Community input was heard in support of the Softball Coach. The committee approved payables and payroll warrants. A representative was appointed to the Keystone Collaborative Board of Directors for FY26. Reports were given by the Elementary School Principal, Middle/High School Principal and Superintendent of Schools. The West Boylston Secretarial Personnel Contract and Custodial Personnel Contract for 2025-2028 were approved. The West Boylston School Committee convened to interview Mr. Daniel Riley, Ed.D., for the position of Superintendent of Schools. The meeting included an explanation of the superintendent search process and timeline, followed by an opening statement and presentation by Mr. Riley. The School Committee then moved to appoint Daniel Riley, Ed.D., as Superintendent of West Boylston Public Schools and entered an executive session to ratify his contract. The committee returned to open session to approve the newly appointed superintendent's contract.
