The Department of the Army (ACC-APG, Tobyhanna Division) issued a Sources Sought synopsis to conduct market research for door and dock repair services at Tobyhanna Army Depot in Tobyhanna, PA. The contractor will provide labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to repair approximately 500 overhead doors, 150 roll-up doors, 80 sliding doors, 40 high-speed doors, and various dock equipment. Responses in the form of capability statements are due by March 17, 2026, to inform potential set-aside decisions or procurement methods.

Minimum salient characteristics and features for the machine: 1. The equipment shall consist of an imagesetter to convert computer files to a film which doesn’t require any chemical post processing before being utilized to create IUID tags among other printed data. 2. Software to include latest TAA compliant RIP algorithm for use on a TYAD supplied laptop connected to the proposed imagesetter. 3. Minimum resolution of 1200dpi in both the X and Y directions. 4. Incoming data, minimum formats: PDF, JPG, TIFF, Postscript. 5. Nominal print size width nominal of 2 F x minimum 48”. 6. Minimum imaging speed 68 SF per hour. 7. Film roll length minimum of 175 F. 8.
