Village of Cimarron

This document outlines the Comprehensive Plan for Cimarron, posted in September 2009.

The agenda includes approval of minutes from previous meetings, comments from the public, reports from various department heads, review and approval of financial documents including a check report, deposit register, and a bill from a law firm. Old business includes water updates, solid waste updates, COVID-19 updates, and a telepharmacy agreement. New business includes 2021 capital outlay requests, several resolutions (Fair Housing, Citizen Participation Plan, Residential Anti-Displacement and Relocation Plan, Water Conservation Plan Update, Section 3 Plan, Procurement Policy, Annual CDBG Resolutions, and IRS Mileage Rate), a refinance offer, an on-call policy, additional ground space lease, and a COOP application with NMDOT. The meeting will also include an executive session to discuss litigation and personnel matters, followed by performance evaluations and potential pay increases for several employees.

The agenda includes appointing a council member to a vacant seat, reviewing special meeting minutes from November 12, 2018, and hearing comments from the public. Department heads will provide reports, and the council will review financials, including a check report and a bill from Robles, Rael, and Anaya. Old business includes water restrictions, a proposed water conservation plan, donation proceeds, annexation of the Cimarron Water Plant, and personnel policy updates. New business includes a resolution on the IRS mileage rate, a notice of intent to publish an ordinance, awarding an engineer for a clean water project, legislative requests, interim financing, an affiliate program, camera systems, and a change order for gutter installation. An executive session will be held to discuss litigation and personnel matters, specifically part-time employees, litigation updates, and water system employee requirements.

The agenda includes discussion and action on the regular meeting minutes, a resolution, the "Lights On" festival, a light parade, donation of sick leave to employees, and road projects. There will also be time for public comments and council concerns.

The council meeting agenda includes reports from department heads (Mayor, Public Works, Police, Ambulance, Municipal Judge, Senior Center, and Chamber of Commerce), public comments, and financial matters such as approving bills.
