The dredged material will be transported to the Historic Area Remediation Site (HARS) in the Atlantic Ocean using mechanical dredging equipment with a closed clamshell environmental bucket. Plans and specifications are expected to be released in June 2026, with in-water work restricted to a window between August 15 and October 31.
