Township of Lake Villa

The meeting included discussions and possible actions regarding the Lake Villa Township Community Park project, including updates on the concession stand, warming shelter, plumbing, sidewalks, and ice rink. The fall winter Township Newsletter was discussed, with assigned sections for trustees, the Township Map, sports, Senior Lunches, and Peacock Camp. The payment of current Town and Road district bills and payroll payments were approved. The assessor reported on the upcoming mailing of assessment notices and an increase factor across the board. The road commissioner reported that the roads are ready for paving and leaf collections will start in the fall. The lending closet was cleaned out and old equipment was donated. Updates were provided on the Lindenhurst Golf outing and the Senior Luncheon.

The Supervisor reported on the summer camp and a "Kindness Week" to raise funds for Camp Mystic in Texas. Senior lunch was scheduled.

The Thanksgiving basket touchless pick-up was a success. There was a discussion concerning employee discipline and enforcement including pending, probable and imminent litigation.
