The meeting included discussions and possible actions regarding the Lake Villa Township Community Park project, including updates on the concession stand, warming shelter, plumbing, sidewalks, and ice rink. The fall winter Township Newsletter was discussed, with assigned sections for trustees, the Township Map, sports, Senior Lunches, and Peacock Camp. The payment of current Town and Road district bills and payroll payments were approved. The assessor reported on the upcoming mailing of assessment notices and an increase factor across the board. The road commissioner reported that the roads are ready for paving and leaf collections will start in the fall. The lending closet was cleaned out and old equipment was donated. Updates were provided on the Lindenhurst Golf outing and the Senior Luncheon.

The timing of the sports pad was rescheduled. Other topics included the fall winter Township Newsletter, renewal of Employee Health Insurance, release of a weed lien, public access to Township buildings and facilities, and a contract to replace HVAC at the west campus. The assessor reported on tax appeals, the road commissioner discussed leaf vacuuming, and the supervisor reported on the senior Halloween lunch, the Hayride at Lindenhurst Haunted Trail, a Swalco used clothing donation box, and a change in web-site provider.

The board considered the Fall/Winter Township Newsletter, and approved payment of current Town and Road district bills and payroll payments. There was a request to name the new community park after Joanne Osmond. The Road Commissioner reported on paving projects and the purchase of lawnmowers. The Supervisor reported on the summer camp and a "Kindness Week" to raise funds for Camp Mystic in Texas. Senior lunch was scheduled.

A spot check investigation was performed at the Highway Department, found a few violations, the violations were fixed, and OSHA is closing the file. The Thanksgiving basket touchless pick-up was a success. There was a discussion concerning employee discipline and enforcement including pending, probable and imminent litigation.
