Sequim School District

The board conducted a study session focused on Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) mid-year check-ins for elementary and secondary schools. The sessions involved 30-minute rotations for elementary schools and 25-minute rotations for secondary schools, including the high school, middle school, and OPA programs.

The meeting included the Pledge of Allegiance, reading of meeting guidelines, mission and vision statements, and acknowledgement of the land. The board approved the contract with Mahlum Architects for Architectural Services.

The board conducted interviews for board candidate, followed by an executive session to review candidate qualifications. The board discussed and took action on several items, including the approval of personnel actions, contracts, staff and student travel, and donations. The board also discussed legislative priorities. The board appointed a new member to District 1. Policy 2020 Course Design Selection & Adoption of Instructional Materials was approved at the first reading. The Sequim Middle School 2025-2026 OSSI Plan was approved. Facility rate fee discussion was held, with further review and approval scheduled for a future meeting.
