Lower scores indicate easier procurement processes. Created by Starbridge.
Sole Source: If sale is less than about $20,000, use sole source; however, do not pursue—RCSD rarely approves; redirect to a coop path.
Coops: Lead with a cooperative contract; confirm your product is on an eligible program and ask Purchasing to process as a piggyback.
Rochester City School District rarely to never uses sole source awards. Attempting a sole source justification will likely fail due to high scrutiny and lack of precedent.

The discussion centered on the existing charter expiring on June 30, 2019, and a proposed charter revision that would allow the school to serve a maximum of 340 students in grades 9-12 until June 30, 2024. Under the current charter, the approved capacity is a maximum of 384 students in grades 9-12. No public speakers were present during the session.
