Redding School District

The meeting included the election of a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and Recorder. The 2025-26 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for Redding Elementary School District focuses on high academic achievement, a broad and challenging curriculum, safe and functional facilities, and increased engagement among students, parents, staff, and educational partners. Key goals include promoting equity and access for all students, preparing students for future opportunities, ensuring positive learning climates, and fostering collaboration to enhance student performance academically, socially, and emotionally. The plan addresses chronic absenteeism and suspension rates through targeted actions around social-emotional learning and provides additional support for highly mobile students.
