The Board conducted the first reading of the proposed fee schedule for the upcoming school year and approved the annual 8th-grade student trip to Yellowstone. Additionally, the Board recognized several retiring staff members. Future agenda items include the recognition of Sterling Scholars and the presentation of School Trustlands plans for the upcoming school year.

The administrative portion of the meeting included the President calling the meeting to order and leading the pledge of allegiance. A motion to table the first reading of Policies DDDB and DDB until negotiations with associations were complete passed. The Board approved the Sex Education and Maturation Instruction Assurances after presentations on maturation, annual assurances, and relevant Sexual Health data. Personnel actions included the approval of two new hires and a subsequent executive session to discuss personnel matters further. Future agenda items noted leadership conference training for administrators.

The proceedings began with a public hearing regarding the proposed issuance of Lease Revenue Bonds by the Local Building Authority (LBA) for Series 2026 financing. Public input covered various perspectives, including concerns about the necessity of new construction given current tax burdens, school conditions (such as inadequate heating and cooling), and fiscal prudence versus immediate need. Following the closure of the initial public hearing, the Board of Education considered and adopted the resolution authorizing the issuance of the lease revenue bonds. Subsequently, the board convened as the Board of Trustees of the Local Building Authority, held a second public hearing (where no public comments were offered), and adopted the bond resolution for the Authority. The board then reconvened as the Board of Education before adjourning the public hearing.
