Project includes station preparation activities for the removal and demolition of existing wheat conveyors, cleaning equipment, E-Mill flour milling equipment, midds pellet cooling equipment, and all associated conveyance, fans, filters, ductwork, spouting and related appurtenances along with demo of CMU walls, doors, and concrete pads/curbs/flooring. New general construction activities include the Contractor supply and installation of structural steel, concrete, rebar, grout, and related construction materials along with core drilling of concrete holes, grouting of equipment and holes around equipment/piping/spouts/duct, curbs, wall/floor/roof flashing, and sealing. New mechanical construction activities consist of millwright work for the installation of Owner furnished filters, purifiers, blowers, fans, motors, r oller mills, hammer mill, wheat heater, scales, loss-in-weight measurer, magnet spouts, separators, aspirators, bin dischargers, scourers, sifters, bran finishers, vibro-feeders, drag conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, color sorter, dampening machine, infestation destroyer, rotary valves, airlocks, cyclones, pneumatic conveying systems, bran finishers, diverters, slide gates, related appurtenances, instruments, and milling equipment related piping, spouting, and ductwork.

Scope of work to generally consist of the following Upgrade the existing HVAC system for the office building, including removal of the existing heat pumps and installation of new fan coil units, a chiller, and user-friendly control systems for the Owner. Removal and replacement of existing interior finishes. Electrical work to provide power for equipment updates

Project requires the replacement of two 190' tall whole wheat bucket elevators in the terminal building. Each bucket elevator will be replaced with a similar sized elevator with extended height, increased rate to 20,000 bph, and equipped with nfpa compliant appurtenances. The elevators will extend through the current roof which will require new concrete roof penetrations. New structural steel will be installed on the roof to serve as support for the new elevator head sections and provide maintenance access. A new elevator feed drag conveyor will be added at the boot of one elevator. A new 175 bph station cleaning bucket elevator and drag conveyor will be added to the station.
