The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) has issued a combined synopsis/solicitation for a comprehensive engineering study and site survey of the current microearthquake (MEQ) network at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake. The contractor will perform a complete site survey and analysis of approximately 15 permanent seismic stations, one temporary station, a repeater site, and the central data acquisition/processing site. The primary deliverable is a final Network Upgrade Plan and Cost Analysis Report, including a Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) and a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimate to support full modernization of the network.
