The district's emergency call data was reviewed, highlighting incidents involving mental health and self-harm concerns. Strategic Support and MTSS teams collaborate to ensure students receive appropriate academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support using a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). School counselors implement comprehensive counseling programs, and Restorative Practices promote connection, respect, and community building. The MDUSD operates after-school programs across multiple locations, offering academic support, SEL activities, and more.

This Strategic Technology Plan for Mt. Diablo Unified School District is a learning plan, empowered by technology, designed to achieve equitable, student-centered learning and prepare students for 21st-century careers, college, and life. It focuses on seven key goals: fostering modern learning and teaching, ensuring equitable access to technology, providing professional and timely support, establishing robust network infrastructure and operations, maintaining comprehensive cybersecurity and data privacy, ensuring sustainability of technology acquisitions, and implementing effective technology governance, continuous improvement, and communication.
