An update was provided on the Public Storage Property Lease, including the process for unanimous approval from all JPA member districts. A discussion about a solar project approved by the MetroED board in June 2023, and a cease and desist letter from San Jose Unified School District (SJUSD) due to a conflict with their housing plans, which led to an agreement for further discussions between MetroED and SJUSD to explore alternative options for the solar project. Proposed meeting dates for 2025-2026 were also reviewed.
