Board meetings and strategic plans from Mansfield Housing Authority
The Mansfield Housing Authority is holding a public hearing to review the Proposed Annual Plan for Fiscal Year 2023, which includes the Capital Improvement Plan, Maintenance and Repair Plan, Operating Budget, responses to the Performance Management Review findings, housing authority policies, and waivers from DHCD regulations. Residents and the public are invited to review the plan and submit comments. The LHA will also review the Plan with any Local Tenant Organizations (LTO's) and Resident Advisory Board (RAB) before presenting the plan to the LHA Board of Commissioners. The MHA goals are to continue to improve the conditions of the building envelopes, paving improvements at their main site and in the outer years begin to upgrade the bathrooms at the scattered sites. The MHA has added a tree removal/trimming project to their CIP to improve the conditions abutting the buildings to extend the life of their roofs. They have also added a unit turnover project to assist in funding the use of vendors during turnovers, as well as bathroom upgrades and siding replacement projects at their scattered sites. Additionally, the MHA is adding a project to eliminate the use of oil at one of their scattered sites and replacing it with an ASHP system.
