The Madison County Board of Supervisors approved a request from the City of Canton to use E-911 funds to modernize their tornado warning system. They were advised that phase 1 of the broadband project has been completed. The Board approved the appointment of Percy Brooks to the Madison County Economic Development Authority Board. Additionally, they approved the use of E-911 funds for a complete replacement of the public address system in all Ridgeland Fire Department stations, and supplemental agreements with Waggoner Engineering, Inc. for right-of-way acquisition for widening Yandell Rd. The Board also approved a plat amendment for Cedar Point Subdivision.

The Madison County Board of Supervisors received a quarterly update on capacity improvement projects, including Calhoun Station Parkway, Stribling Road, Weisenberger Road, and Yandell Road.
