Board meetings and strategic plans from Hanover Area School District
The special meeting of the Hanover Area School District Board of Education addressed financial recommendations, including the approval of the 2020-2021 Proposed Final General Fund Budget with no tax increase. The board also approved a payment to Borton Lawson Engineering, Inc., and early retirement incentives for both full-time teachers and support staff. The tentative 2020 Graduation List was approved, and a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commission on Economic Opportunity was also approved.
The special meeting included the reading of Resolution #2020-04-01 by the Business Administrator and its subsequent approval. Future meeting dates for the May Work Session and May Regular Meeting were announced. The meeting was then adjourned.
