Work to be included under this section is for a "full modernization" of the existing building elevator and associated components. The purpose of the modernization is to address the non-operational elevator, but also to extend the life of the existing elevator while improving the dependability and serviceability in the future. Attached is a scope of work for elevator component replacement to be considered as a basis of the elevator modernization. It is the responsibility of the elevator contractor/supplier to make an assessment of the existing elevator and components to determine the extent of repair and replacement of required and other work indicated in the drawings and specifications.

The Commission addressed several items, including the adoption of retirement resolutions, the introduction of new staff members, and approval to enter into an agreement for the construction of an interceptor extension. Additionally, the Commission approved sewer plans for the Village of Howard, entered a closed session to discuss litigation strategy, and reviewed project updates regarding facility building maintenance and the East River Interceptor Renewal Project. Preliminary financial reports for the end of the previous year and operational reports for the current month were presented. The Executive Director provided updates on upcoming meetings, staff promotions, honors, and participation in industry programs and conferences.
The Commission reviewed and approved the award of the Green Bay Facility Pumping and High Strength Waste Improvements Project construction contract and authorized an amendment for additional engineering services. The Commission also approved sanitary sewer plans for the Village of Luxemburg, the Village of Howard, and the Town of Lawrence. Updates were provided regarding ongoing capital projects, including the Downtown Interceptor Renewal and North Plant Clarifier Rehabilitation. Additional presentations covered the Administration Building elevator modernization, the 2025 Watershed Adaptive Management Program, and the 2025 Watershed Monitoring Program.
