Fort Liard

The Fort Liard Community Emergency Plan establishes a framework for community preparedness in dealing with emergencies and hazards. The Fort Liard Community Emergency Plan outlines the roles and responsibilities of the Local Emergency Management Organization (LEMO) members. It details the escalation process for handling community emergencies, the responsibilities of elected officials, and typical LEMO response activities. The plan includes an All-Hazards Response action list and Specific Hazards Plans, focusing on safety and security of residents, property damage or loss, environmental impacts, disruption of normal services, and media/public information. It also covers hazard identification and risk assessment, and the emergency responsibilities of various LEMO members and agencies.
