The event also featured recognitions for the MLK and Black History Month planning committee members and partners, the singing of the National Black Anthem, and a first look at the Triad Cultural Arts pop-up Salon.

The event was the College & Career Readiness Graduation ceremony, encompassing graduates from the 2019, 2020, and 2021 adult high school and high school equivalency programs.
