DESIGN-BUILD construction contract for repair the dam road by reconstruction of an approx. 4,505-FT-long roadway, raising grade, constructing culverts, regrading wash areas and ditches to account for current stormwater runoff. Create positive ditch drainage in areas of reconstruction. The final surface shall be a smooth profile without any bumps or dips. Replace all signs, install new wet reflective thermoplastic pavement markings and retroreflective pavement markers.

Remove and dispose of river debris and river rock in the levee area as well as vegetation, unsuitable material and stone, and overexcavation. Restore the as-built conditions of the damaged groins with bedding stone, stone protection, and filter sand infill. Four (4) total groins. Groins are 4 FT above channel invert and additional stone will be needed to make it 2 FT below channel invert. D100 of all stone protection in contract is 40". Restore the as-built conditions of the damaged stone toe with bedding stone, stone protection, and filter sand infill. Approx. 700 FT in length. Existing stone toe is 4 FT above channel invert and additional stone will be needed to make it 2 FT below channel invert. Construct stone protection along the channel bank with bedding stone, stone protection, and filter sand infill to protect existing stone toe. Approx. 850 FT in length. Existing stone toe is 4 FT above channel invert and additional stone will be needed to make it 2 FT below channel invert. Place fill over all stone protection and over part of groins. Fill starts at the top of the existing slope, extends a few feet away from the hinge point of the stone protection and meets existing grade at a slope. Approx. 1,550 FT in length. Hydroseed fill after completion. Construct a permanent access ramp to restore access to access road on both sides of the damaged area. Ramp will consist of fill. It will have 15 FT of width, not exceed a 9% grade, accommodate a standard 8 FT by 22 FT dump truck with 8 CY of capacity, and be located between two groins.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District seeks a two-phase design-build solution for a new approximately 13,000-square-foot climate-controlled Airborne Equipment Parachute Repair Facility at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. Work includes design and compliance, site and utility work, a 50-ton crane, rigging lanes and cargo conveyance, HVAC, communications and security, commissioning, and maintenance support. This is a 100% total small-business set-aside firm-fixed-price procurement with an $8.2 million budget ceiling, and Phase I will shortlist up to three offerors for possible Phase II.
