Discussion takeaways emphasized producing graduates with strong technology skills, enabling student 'off-ramping' between credit and non-credit, promoting project-based and team-based learning, ensuring programs reflect workforce needs, and developing a three-to-five-year IT roadmap with transparent service-level agreements. The Special Board Meeting convened via Zoom. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to the implementation plan and demonstration of Desire2Learn (D2L), the College's new learning management system, covering timelines, faculty training, and system features such as the instructor dashboard and mobile platform.
