The purpose of the meeting is to pass a motion to close the meeting to the public.

The Council approved various park naming and concept plans, financial assistance for heritage properties, and corporate reports on topics such as zoning amendments, real property disposition, public art installations, and municipal infrastructure contracts. Additionally, the Council addressed a water restriction update and directed staff to assess the feasibility of an Affordable Workforce Housing Program.

The Council meeting involved hearings to consider recommendations from the Building Inspector regarding the filing of notices on title for properties at 13466 - 87A Avenue and 12464 - 77A Avenue due to unpermitted construction and non-compliance with the Community Charter. Council reviewed evidence of unpermitted additions and dwelling units for both properties. For the 13466 - 87A Avenue property, Council resolved to file a notice on title. For the 12464 - 77A Avenue property, Council heard from the owner regarding their intent to bring the property into compliance, denied a request for an adjournment, and subsequently resolved to file a notice on title.
