Rrps - School Board Meeting
The school board meeting included introductory comments from the superintendent, followed by reports from the audit and finance committees. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to public comment, addressing concerns about safe space signs, the pre-k program, and a substantial increase in student aggression and violence in elementary schools. The board also considered a donation from the Schuman Foundation for the Level All program and a donation of computer tablets from the Freemasonry Miss Masonic Lodge Number 76. An update on the pre-k committee's progress and a human resources report were presented, along with proposed changes to policy 806 regarding animals on school property.
