The plan prioritizes various road and intersection improvements, balancing the needs of vehicular movement, emergency response, and future development, to inform the adopted 2026-2030 Fiscal Year Plan.

The committee discussed the Hillcrest Elementary Safe Routes to School study, including infrastructure improvements and feedback on the corridor. The Livable Streets Performance Measures framework was introduced, and members reviewed priority letters for the 2026 Five-Year Plan. Additionally, updates were provided regarding Commission meetings, leadership initiatives, and safety concerns identified by committee members at specific street intersections, alongside a report on ongoing and completed construction projects.

The board meeting agenda focused on several key items, including a letter of support for the SS4A Five Mile application and committee advisement regarding the ACHD Connect platform, the COMPASS Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan, the 2026 Accessible Pedestrian Signal priority list, and an update on the rollout of proximity-actuated audible devices. The committee reviewed the Hillcrest Elementary Safe Routes Concept Study and discussed an upcoming advisory committee tour of the project area.
