The council meeting included various recognitions, including the Finance Director and the Municipal Airport Commission, as well as presentations on the Energy Park and a cost recovery fee study update. The Council reviewed and considered several agreements, including the Paradise Point Extraterritorial Agreement, the McAtee and Desert View Extraterritorial Agreement, the Desert Point Sewer Extension Agreement, and amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Consultant Agreement. Additionally, the council discussed the Larson Recreation Center operations, 2026 unrepresented salary plan amendments, and sidewalk maintenance enforcement. A disbursement report was received, and an executive session was held to discuss potential litigation.

The meeting included a review of parking lot improvement amendments, specifically regarding maintenance, repair, and change of occupancy regulations. A presentation was delivered on the Shoreline Management Act followed by the approval of locally initiated amendments to the Shoreline Master Program to allow for redundant public utility lines to improve infrastructure reliability and reduce environmental risk. Additionally, the commission reviewed and recommended the approval of the 2027 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan, which includes five new priority projects.
