The council discussed various development plans, including those for a Wendy's restaurant and townhomes. Legislative actions included establishing no-parking zones on Annette and Potter streets, and setting public hearing dates for street vacations and DORA operation renewals. The council also addressed a liquor license transfer, received a petition regarding on-street parking, and introduced new staff members. The board meeting focused on several key items including executive session training, and the consideration of two variance requests. One variance request involved a side yard setback adjustment for an attached garage at 376 N Sandusky Street, which was approved with a condition. The second variance request concerned a rear setback reduction for a home addition at 659 Presidential Way, for which staff provided a recommendation for approval.

The meeting agenda addressed the Sister City Gold Award Project and updates regarding Sister City activities with Baumholder, Germany, and Sakata, Japan, including the status of an OWU soccer trip. The board also reviewed the remaining meeting schedule for the calendar year.

The commission reviewed and approved the Police Officer Certified List and the Firefighter Certified List. The Planning Commission meeting addressed several development proposals, including a request for a development plan for a Wendy's at Glennwood Commons and a development plan for 210 townhomes within the McNett Meadows PUD. The commission also reviewed and acted upon subdivision plats for McNett Meadows, Delaware County Shared Services Administration building, Trailhead Crossing, and Bowtown Grand development. Additionally, the commission considered requests from the City of Delaware to vacate portions of unimproved right-of-way on Hayes Street and Jane Road. A report from the Planning Director provided updates on the South Sandusky Study and the kickoff of the Architectural Standards review.
