Additionally, an annual resolution regarding beer sales at Community Park was approved with modifications, and updates were provided regarding upcoming Arbor Day activities.

The Personnel Committee meeting agenda included discussions regarding fire department staffing, with consideration of part-time models and battalion chief stipends. Additionally, the committee reviewed a new administrative policy on generative artificial intelligence, outlining principles for transparency, security, and data privacy, and examined a proposal to restructure departmental reporting lines to balance responsibilities between the City Administrator and the Assistant City Administrator.

The Envision Verona Comprehensive Plan provides a guiding vision and framework for the community's growth and development over the next ten years. It addresses critical issues and outlines goals for land use, urban design, community character, housing and neighborhoods, commercial and industrial districts, parks and open space, and infrastructure systems. The plan aims to promote optimal land use, resolve conflicts, and enhance residential and economic development, parks, recreation, and transportation. Key focus areas include transportation and mobility, local businesses and downtown vitality, housing affordability and variety, community character, and environmental sustainability, ensuring the city remains resilient and offers a high quality of life.

The committee reviewed and approved a special event permit for the Wisconsin Triterium Triathlon, contingent upon final route approval by the Public Works Department. Additionally, the committee recommended that the Common Council approve a liquor license application for Ian's Pizza Verona, contingent upon final building and fire inspections.
