The North Carolina Department of Revenue's 2025 Equal Employment Opportunity Plan reaffirms its commitment to providing equal employment opportunities and fostering a diverse, inclusive workforce. Key focus areas include recruitment, selection, onboarding, talent management, training, compensation and benefits, performance management, and grievance processes, alongside adherence to executive orders regarding pregnancy workplace adjustments and prohibiting the use of salary history.

The North Carolina Property Tax Commission held a session to conduct hearings and address motions related to property tax cases. The session included discussions and presentations related to cases from meinberg and Randolph Counties, dealing with property valuation disputes. Motions to dismiss filed by meinburg County were also addressed. The commission ensured all parties and witnesses were present and sworn in, and they set guidelines for participation in the virtual hearing to maintain order and clarity.
