City of Buckeye City Council Regular Council Meeting

The City Council approved several items, including multiple restaurant liquor licenses and a re-plat request. The Council authorized the formation and expansion of various Street Lighting Improvement Districts and approved an agreement regarding wired telecommunications. Financial actions included the approval of budget transfers, contract award authorizations, and the submission of numerous federal and state grant applications for fire, safety, arts, and transportation projects. Additionally, the Council authorized the procurement of a hazardous materials truck, approved an intergovernmental agreement for a police response team, and increased expenditure authority for a capital improvement project involving intersection improvements.
