The range of services provided by bond counsel can be narrow or broad and frequently varies by bond issuance. The amount of work necessary to perform the same services can be quite different between financings and depends largely upon the nature and complexity of the issuance. Through their response the proposer must demonstrate an ability to provide the following services: 1. Advise clark county and its consultants in oral and written formats on relevant legal requirements, including state and federal income tax and securities laws, and potential legislation that might impact future financing; 2. Review transcripts relating to prior county issuances and outstanding obligations, to assure conformity of the bonds with applicable covenants and conditions and recommend provisions as appropriate.
