Grass Valley City Council City Council Meeting
The City Council held a public hearing regarding an appeal of a Planning Commission decision concerning a two-lot tentative parcel map application for 134 South Church Street. Key discussion topics included the proposed subdivision of land into two parcels, the creation of commercial condominium units, and various concerns regarding alleged easements, development standards, and future land use. Staff addressed the appeal basis by recommending approval with a newly introduced condition requiring standard land use entitlements for future development on the resulting parcels and correcting a clerical error identified in the original staff report. Additionally, the Council considered the procedural aspects of the appeal and the request for a refund of appeal fees.
